4 Gorgeous Cream Blush Looks

Forgo your powder blush for one of these luminous blush aesthetics.

1. The Natural Flush

This is the go-to technique for a glowy, everyday look. Here's how to do it:

Step 1: Using your fingers, dab a small amount of cream blush onto the apples of your cheeks. Smile slightly to locate the high points of your cheekbones.

Step 2: Using your fingers or one of our Mini Cloud Cushion Puffs, blend outward towards your temple and hairline.

Pro tip: When using out Cloud Cushion Puff, attach it to your ring finger for a softer touch and seamless application.

2. The Lifted Look

This technique creates the illusion of lifted cheekbones. Cuz who doesn't want that?

Step 1: Start by applying the blush slightly higher than the apples of your cheeks, near your temples.

Step 2:  Blend downwards and outwards towards your cheekbones using your fingers, a Cloud Puff, or damp beauty sponge.

3. The Sun-Kissed Glow

For a summery, bronzed look, try this technique:

Step 1: Apply the cream blush in a circular motion on the apples of your cheeks, blending outwards towards your temples and forehead. Then dab a tiny amount on the bridge of your nose and chin for a sun-kissed effect.

Step 2: Use our M201 Round Cream & Liquid Blush Brush to apply the cream blush in a sweeping motion across the apples of your cheeks, temples, and forehead.

4. The Draping Technique

This technique creates a more sculpted look, perfect for emphasizing snatched cheekbones.

Step 1: Apply the cream blush in a long line starting from the temple and following the hollow of your cheekbone down towards your jawline.

Step 2: Blend outwards slightly using your fingers, a damp sponge, or our Mini Cloud Puff.

Cream Blush for Your Face Shape

We at Morphe mostly believe that there are no rules in makeup, but if you’re looking for a flattering way to apply cream blush for your face shape – look no further.

1. Oval

You have the most versatility of all the face shapes. Feel free to try any of the techniques from above.

2. Round

Apply your cream blush in a slightly angled line from temple to jawline, avoiding the apples of your cheeks. This helps elongate the face a little.

3. Heart

Apply blush in a "C" shape, starting at the apples of your cheeks and blending upwards towards your temples. This balances the wider upper portion of your face.

4. Square

Apply blush on the apples of your cheeks, blending slightly upwards towards your temples. You can also add a touch of blush to soften your jawline if you want.

How to Set Your Cream Blush

To make sure your cream blush lasts throughout the day, you should definitely be setting it with a mist that will last. If you have oilier skin or want a slightly more matte finish, you can set your blush with the Morphe Bake & Set Soft Focus Setting Powder in Brightening Pink so your blush and setting powder blend together with perfection. If you want an overall, dewier set – go for our best-selling, cult icon Continuous Setting Mist.

Cream blush is a versatile product that can add a touch of color and dimension to your complexion. With the right tools and techniques, you can achieve a variety of looks, from natural to oh-so-dramatic. And have fun!
